OSS AV Industry solutions including long-haul freight, agriculture and aerospace were showcased at AUVSI XPONENTIAL in Denver, Colorado. We showed our latest solutions in autonomous vehicle technology. Our newest ultra-rugged Donati and Cernis products are used in military vehicles for 360° Situational Awareness and AI applications such as object recognition and natural language processing. Our flagship large-scale edge supercomputer, Rigel, is used in military and commercial applications to support signal intelligence, electronic warfare and up to 28 simultaneous AI inference applications such as autonomous navigation. Our AI Transportable storage solutions, included the 3U SDS with removable hot-swap NVMe storage canisters that are easily transportable between vehicles and ground stations or data hubs. The SDS is used for data logging and, along with OSS Ion Accelerator™ software, serving out block and file based storage as a rugged SAN or NAS system for rugged edge applications.
OSS Rigel Edge Supercomputer™ is the first and only NVIDIA HGX class system awarded NVIDIA Edge Product certification meeting stringent performance, functionality, scalability and security metrics. Based upon the NVIDIA HGX™ A100 platform, this AI system is the densest rugged supercomputer and was showcased at AUVSI XPONENTIAL. Rigel enables enterprises to confidently deploy hardware solutions that are secure and optimally run modern accelerated workloads in the harshest environments.

The United States Army has had centuries of experience advancing the vehicles used in warfighting. If you consider the arrival of the first tank on the battlefield early in the 20th Century, you can imagine the fear it conjured up. This continued through World War II with the Sherman tank, and completely changed how mechanized vehicles impacted the battlefield forever. As we move into the 21st Century, the same drive to advance the abilities of military vehicles is occurring. The sophistication that the Army is now employing in the next generation vehicle has the potential of being a generational change that is equivalent to a soldier on horseback facing their first tank.
