Concept Development, Inc. (CDI) was acquired by OSS in 2018 and subsequently merged into the OSS headquarters operation in Escondido California, outside of San Diego. The acquisition added customers as well as specialized design, test, and manufacturing expertise in military and commercial aerospace applications in support of the core OSS AI Transportable market strategy. Their products included OEM designs for commercial flight safety, power distribution, in-flight entertainment, and military deployable flight systems. CDI brought complementary capabilities to OSS including electrical, mechanical and software engineering, FAA certified repair operations, AS9100 quality policies as well as extensive experience in commercial and military airborne system testing and certification.
