SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to develop, execute and manage short and long-term growth objectives for DoD and Government business sectors. Selling Rugged High Performance Solutions operating at the Edge enabling AI/ML and Sensor Fusion applications. Assist in the development of annual sales goals with the Sales Vice President and channel support. Special emphasis is required to achieve annual and long-term strategic growth objectives.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and prosecute a pipeline of qualified opportunities, aligned with the company’s growth objectives, across the U.S. DOD and other U.S. Federal agencies
- Secure Sales on near and long term DOD Platforms and Program of Records (POR)
- Meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Action Plan (STRAP) sales objectives
- Direct sales forecasting activities and channel development activities in DOD and Government sectors
- Coordinate sales growth by establishing quotas for defined sales territories and coordinates territory manager growth objectives to meet or exceed territory quotas
- Periodic Reporting back to Business Units on key performance indicators
- Work with Marketing on Key Customer Advertising Opportunities
- Data analysis & ability to interpret positive or negative trends as related to customers, competitors, and industry partners.
- Demonstrate and/or display a high degree of knowledge on products and market segment.
- Conduct sales presentations to executives, and key accounts having the ability to perform and prepare presentations on all products
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition
- React quickly to market changes and provide feedback as required
- Provide a high level of customer service by working with sales coordinators, customer service, and accounts managers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI), complete work in a timely manner, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Responsible for all supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
At least twelve years or more of Govenment Sales or Business Development experience required, preferably selling high performance compute or aerospace electronics to Industry Primes and DOD Acquisition and Development agencies such as US Army PEOs, PMs, US Navy NX, PMAs, USAF SPO, SAF, AFRL, ARL, and other entities.

Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel 50% time.
Salary Range
- $190,000 to $240,000
